Asozoda Nurali Mahmadullo

Started his career in 1984 from the post of agronomist of the Kulyab regional executive committee of agriculture, then he was elected deputy secretary of the Komsomol Committee of the state farm Kongurt of the Temurmalik district. In 1985 he entered the agronomic faculty of the Tajik Agrarian University, which he graduated in 1990 and continued his working career as an agronomist for the protection of plants in the agricultural department of the Djilikul district. 1990-1991 -frequent researcher, 1991-1994- post-graduate student, 1994-1997- senior research fellow of the Research Institute of Soil Science of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 1997-2005 – Chief Specialist, Head of the Grain and Fodder Crops Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan. From 2005 to 2013 headed of the branch of the Tajik Agrarian University in Dangara district. At the same time, he continued his scientific research activity and in 1997 successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, and in 2012, – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences. 2013-2014 – Deputy Director of the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2014-2016 – Director of the Farming Institute of Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Since April 2016 he is the president of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences (TAAS). In 2016 he was elected a corresponding member of the TAAS.

Asozoda N.M. makes a significant contribution to the development of science on soil science, agrochemistry and agriculture. The scientific work is aimed at addressing the issues of increasing soil fertility and improving the technology of growing crops. He developed and improved methods for combating erosion processes on irrigated lands, compiled a map of soil erosion in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the norms for introducing mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of leguminous crops. His scientific achievements are protected by 4 patents and introduced into production. Published more than 80 scientific works, including 4 books and monographs, 11 recommendations, methodical and educational manuals. He is the head of 3 post-graduate students and candidates. For special merits in branch science he was awarded with the Honorary Diploma of the Republic of Tajikistan.
