Yulia Mitusova is an international trade and development consultant with nine years of experience on behalf of the World Bank in Washington, DC and the Danish Embassy in Moscow, Russia. Yulia holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management with a concentration in Management Consulting. At the World Bank, Yulia is managing operations for a project on food security in Central Asia, aimed at developing the research and education capacity of the Eurasian center for food security based at Moscow State University in Russia. At Thunderbird, she worked on a number of consulting projects including a project for Town of Queen Creek, AZ aimed at diversifying the town’s revenue streams and achieving long-term fiscal sustainability. Yulia spent several weeks in Angola, Africa evaluating ExxonMobil’s Rural development program and providing recommendations for the program’s sustainability. She has also worked on multiple projects within the energy, food and agriculture sectors and successfully introduced multiple Danish companies to the Russian market. She has extensive experience developing market entry strategies, conducting market research, advising on political and economic risk, as well as managing high-level business delegations.
